SLO Rolling Annual Car Show 9/23

Our fellow Volvo brethren in San Luis Obispo (SLO) are having their annual Volvo Car Show in the Santa Rosa Park on Saturday, Sept.23, 2017 with a Sunday event as well.Considering this is a fall event the hotels are fairly pricey, one should plan early if you wish to have a hotel room. A few of us will be staying Friday evening at the Best Western in Arroyo Grande with fair pricing and about 15 miles away. A caravan to SLO on Friday 9/22 is also forming meeting at 10:30 AM at the Shell Gas Station, Reyes Adobe Rd. exit 38 from the 101 N. Leave at 11:00 AM and drive to East Beach Grill, 1118 E. Cabrillo Blvd, Santa Barbara for a beachside lunch. Afterwards continue to Arroyo Grande or your hotel destination afterwards.

2017 SoCal VSA Picnic Time!

SoCal VSA is hosting a picnic at the IRVINE REGIONAL PARK (parking lot 16) on Saturday June 10, 2017 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. All are welcome to bring your family and pets. So wash and shine your favorite ride and display it for everyone to ogle at! This is a BYO favorite lunch or snack event. There’s usually a grill available for those who wish to BBQ.

Annual Davis 2017 Caravan

A caravan is forming to travel up to the annual Davis Volvo Car show on Saturday, April 29. The plan is to meet at the Lyons St. exit of I-5 N in the Burger King parking lot. Meeting from 9:30 AM and leaving at 10:30 AM. The caravan will drive north on I-5 and connect to the 99 Highway North. The first stop (112 miles/2 hrs) is in Delano for gas and lunch (Jenny’s Cafe, 1004 High St., Delano, 93125). Afterwards we continue (130 miles/2 Hrs, 15 mins) to a Merced Shell station(1405 MLK Jr. Way). Then continue to Davis (130 miles/ 2 Hrs, 15mins) and arrive approx. 5:00PM.
Have a safe trip via what ever path you take.
