SoCal VSA & Swedish Speed Swap Meet and Car Show Perris, CA -
Nov. 3, 2012. The property owner – Daytona Storage along with Swedish Speed are sponsoring this event . Besides a Swap Meet we’ll have a Car Show entry area and an area set for folks who may want to sell (or buy) their Volvos. There will also be a BBQ pit available where attendees can bring their favorite “grill-able” foods i.e. hot dogs, burgers or chicken and Swedish Speed will provide the side dishes and bottled water. There a raffle for 10 cars for tickets to the Perris Auto Speedway and attend the Oval National Races. This event is free so plan to bring your table, chair, and EZ-up and your Volvo goods and or show off your car and enjoy the day with your fellow Volvo enthusiasts. Contact Tom Dougherty –

June 9, 2012 (Saturday) 3rd Annual Ontario Volvo Show, Swap Meet and Inspection Service Clinic (now in the planning stages). 8 AM to 2 PM on the front lot of Ontario Volvo, 1300 Auto Center Drive, Ontario, CA 91761, 909.605.5700, www.ontariovolvo.com. Bring your Volvos, old or new, ugly or pretty, stock or modded, for a Volvo Car Display and Show ‘n’ Shine. This will also be a Volvo Parts Swap Meet. Anyone may participate. (Dealership is asking that no currently available new parts are brought). Questions about the swap meet may be made to Service Manager Tony Rivas, trivas[at]exclusivelycars.com. The Inspection Service Clinic is a free service provided by Ontario Volvo, available for any 1990 or newer Volvo. A certified Volvo Tech will inspect your Volvo and provide a report of any service recommendations they find. No repairs will be done on this day. All cars inspected will receive a complimentary wash. To sign up for inspection, please call toll free 855.218.6586. Some sign-ups will also be available on show day, depending on crowds.
Saturday June 2, 2012 is the 5th Annual Swedish Car Fest, hosted by the SoCal Chapter of VSA and sponsored by Right Solution. 10AM to 2PM. FREE! Same location… Ruby’s Diner, 245 N Harbor Dr, Redondo Beach, CA 90277. As always, ALL SAABs and Volvos are invited, old and new, for a wonderful laid back car show and mingling of the Swedish marques! There will be more trophies this year and plenty of SAAB and Volvo gear to win.
